The big night has come and gone and we have seen a lot of amazingly dressed attendees capturing our attention with dressy gowns, rebels who wore short dresses, some risqué style and gentlemen behaviour Oh! and also to mention a lot of PDA going on *blush*
Lets take a look at the fashion event of the year MET GALA 2014 !
The Opening :-
The First Lady Michelle Obama graceful in an embellished Naeem Khan floral creation cut the ribbon while attending the grand opening of the Anna Wintour Costume Center at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on Monday morning (May 5) in New York City.
The opening was held ahead of tonight’s annual Met Ball event. Speaking out on the occasion the First Lady announced that she along with Anna Wintour will be organizing a fashion workshop at the White House for students.
Twenty-six years after his death, the career of fashion designer Charles James is finally getting its due in this year's big Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute exhibit. Dozens of James's creations—intricately constructed gowns, coats and more—fill the Anna Wintour Costume Center and other galleries.
The show, Charles James: Beyond Fashion examines the British-born, New York-based artist's "use of sculptural, scientific, and mathematical approaches to construct revolutionary ball gowns and innovative tailoring that continue to influence designers today," as the museum puts it. Some of the dramatic ball gowns have videos showing their elaborately detailed tailoring and workmanship.

There were a whole lot of best dressed couples stealing the night with stunning outfits and whole lot of PDA giving the shutter bugs a GALA Time.
The Gentle Men Who Stole the Show :-
Men mostly turned up safe in suits but there were quite a few who were stealing the show in tailcoats sans the hat and decorations.
